Game film that looks like a movie.
A Dallas studio shooting photography and film for high school programs, athletes and tournaments. Built for your grid.
The name
The work should look effortless. It never is.
Quit Playin started as a nickname on a Texas court. It's what the gym said when a crossover landed and the defender was left standing, when something hard looked easy.
That's the standard we shoot to. Easy comes from the work nobody sees: learning a program's language before the first frame, naming every player, putting the finished piece on the program's grid instead of in a folder.
What we make
Four ways to work with us. Every lane runs through the same studio, the same crew standards and the same delivery rules. Pick the one that fits the season you're in.
Program Media Partner
Season retainer, high school and clubOne studio on your program from the offseason to the last game. We build your grid on the words your coach already uses in the gym: designed collages, named player cards, a weekly Reel series and game photography, posted as Instagram Collabs so it lands on your grid and ours.
Player Media
Families and individual athletesOne athlete, filmed and photographed like they're the only one on the floor. Game highlights, recruiting tape with a title card a college coach can screenshot, and portraits worth framing. Cut short enough that a coach watches to the end.
Event and Tournament Coverage
Tournaments, showcases, camps, senior nightsYour event, covered court by court. Action photography, team photos and a recap Reel your event can post while families are still in the parking lot. Every team gets coverage, which is what gets the same teams to register next year.
Original Films and Docuseries
Long form, one subject, one seasonSome seasons need more than a highlight. We follow one player or one program across a full season and cut it into episodes with real structure: a beginning, stakes and an ending nobody wrote in advance.
Denton Guyer Girls Basketball
Head coach Jake Floyd gave us his four program pillars in his first season at a 6A program. We built the season on them: collages, named player cards and a weekly Reel series, posted to his grid and ours.

Every player gets named.
A named frame is the one a kid reposts. One athlete, big, in full vertical, built for Stories. Cards go to the coach, who shares them with the team. We never send files to a player's DMs.

Shot straight. Never graded.
Every frame here left the camera the way you see it: cropped and framed, never retouched, never color graded. That's the standard for every athlete we shoot.

It takes all of us.
GUYER in tall type, each letter a window onto a different player, closing on the whole team with their coach. Faces placed by detection, so no head ever lands on a stroke. Eight seconds, built for the carousel.
The full Guyer buildThe standards
What a program signs up for when we're on the floor. None of it is negotiable, including for us.
Skin is never retouched.
Photos are cropped, framed and composed, and an athlete's skin is never retouched or color graded. No AI alters an athlete, ever.
Every player gets named.
A named frame is the one a kid reposts, so every panel we design carries a name.
Your grid, not a folder.
Work posts as an Instagram Collab, so it lands on your program's grid with the caption and credit intact. You still get every file.
We know the calendar.
We know when UIL practice opens, what a September graphic can say, and which files go to the coach instead of a player's phone.

How a season works
The call.
A three minute inquiry, then one reply within a business day with scope, price and dates. We learn your pillars, your roster and your calendar.
The plan.
A posting calendar your coach approves before we shoot. A deposit locks the dates.
The shoot.
Games, offseason work and the moments in between, shot to the house standard whoever is behind the camera.
The post.
Designed, captioned and published as a Collab on both grids, on schedule. Every file is yours too.
An original series. Six episodes. Premieres November 1.
One Texas season, filmed from the inside and cut by Quit Playin Media. Title and subject announced October 1.
You're on the list. We'll send the announcement on October 1.
Asked and answered
01Who actually shoots our games?
A Quit Playin crew member trained to our house standard, and every edit passes studio review before it ships. For program partners we keep the same lead shooter on your games whenever possible.
02How fast do we get content?
Game galleries in 48 hours, game night selects within 12 hours on The Season and The Franchise, highlight Reels in 72 hours. Every package on the rate card lists its turnaround.
03Do you post it, or do we?
We post, and your program is invited as Instagram Collab co-author, so it shows on both grids with the right caption, credit and timing. You still get every file for your own channels.
04How do you handle photos of minors?
Nothing is published without a media release on file, and every opt-out is honored. We never tag an athlete's personal account. Player cards go to the coach, who shares them with the team. Any athlete or parent can ask us to take an image down, and we do it within two business days. Request a removal.
05Do you edit how athletes look?
No. We crop, frame and design. We never retouch faces or bodies and never use AI to alter an athlete. If your program wants untouched color, you get untouched color.
06How do programs usually pay for this?
Booster clubs, a presenting sponsor, or both. Many partners sell a "presented by" slot to a local business that covers most of the season. We'll give you a one page sponsor pitch, and payments spread monthly across the season.
07Will a recruiting tape get my kid recruited?
No one can promise that. What we promise is a tape built the way college staffs actually watch: title card with contact info up top, best plays first, your athlete clearly marked, under four minutes, and a file ready for Hudl.
08Can we book just one game or one event?
Yes. Book a single game as an Event Half Day, or add games to any package. If you like it, the cost of that game counts toward a Program Media Partner season booked within 30 days.
Now booking the winter season.
Tell us about your program or athlete. We reply to every inquiry within one business day with next steps and a quote. We take a limited number of programs each season, so every one gets the full standard.
